The two year old was killed when his father reversed the family’s utility over the boy on the driveway of their property at Wilgoyne, 30 kilometres north of Mukinbudin.

St John Ambulance was called to the property, but the boy died at the scene.

The boy’s body was taken to Kununoppin Hospital and police will report to the coroner, although initial indications are the death was an accident.

A police media spokesperson said the boy had been running toward the back of the utility.
