Girls improving

3/07/2008 12:41:00 PM
A SMALL group of fun net girls did great things this week.

Organisers say it is fantastic to see how they are improving and gave a special mention to Nicolah Taylor for her outstanding work during the windows activity.

Freya Sander gave everyone a good warm up exercise to do and Jemma MacDonald was super at the passing activity.

To end the session, Mrs Douglas gave the girls a real netball game and they thoroughly enjoyed wearing their bibs and playing in positions.

We hope to see everyone at the last fun net, tomorrow and don’t forget your afternoon tea.

This week’s R & J Netta awards went to Alanah Caparaso - Pink Panthers, Sophie Caplan - White Angles, Tia Penny - Red Robins and Riley Hutton - Green crocodiles. Congratulations to all players, the standard of play is improving every week.

The Junior B games this week had Lions (32) defeat Jaguars (16) and Cheetahs (31) defeated Tigers (25).

The Subway Merit Awards were won by Hannah deLacy, Shy-Anne Rice, Bronte Jefferys and Kaylee Horne.

Well done girls and remember the next games are tomorrow starting at 4pm.
