Winner of this event was Ben Giles with 69 nett, with Greg Giles runner-up with 71, both having 84 off the stick.

Novelty winners were Ben and Brad Giles.

About three years ago there was a prediction of a young Ben Giles being a future club champion and this week that prediction became a reality, with two great rounds of 80 and 84 easily secured this year’s title.

Runner up was Greg Giles, some nine shots off the pace.

The Ladies Champion once again was won by Vicki Giles with rounds of 86 and 83.

Sunday week ago a small field of members played for the Kevin Smith trophy at the Nokaning Golf Club.

Vicki Giles won the event with 37 points and Kevin Smith was runner up with 29.

Nearest pin novelties went to Brian Waterhouse and Frank Whittick.

Due to fixture changes within the association this Sunday will be a club day.
