Mottershead wins Amateur Sands

MERREDIN’S own Darren Mottershead was the gross winner of the Merredin Amateur Sands golf event.

Runner up for the gross was another Merredin golfer, Mat Morris.

Nett winner was Shaun Waterhouse and runner up Don Joss.

About 120 golfers enjoyed the sunny weekend condition for this year’s amateur sands.

A full report of the event with all winners will be in next week’s Mercury.
